Update: Highway 39 near Yellow Grass is open again

YELLOW GRASS - Traffic is being affected by an incident in the Yellow Grass area on Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline, the incident is on Highway 39 westbound.

Debris is on the road and there is one lane of traffic. Police are on site,

"Please use extreme caution, reduce your speed and be prepared to stop," states a message on the Highway Hotline.

According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, a semi experienced mechanical problems, which partially blocked Highway 39 until it was towed.
