MIDALE — ‘Currie Family is facing unimaginable loss’. A GoFundMe campaign under this name was started by Matthew Hennigar for the Currie family of Midale.
“This fundraiser is to help my sister Becky Currie. She recently moved to Midale, Saskatchewan, with her husband Ryan and their four children, the youngest only being three months old. Unfortunately, Ryan has been taken away from us unexpectedly. This fundraiser is aimed to help Becky and her children financially, during this difficult time,” says Hennigar in the campaign description. “Anything really does truly helps.”
Ryan Currie suddenly passed away on Sept. 13 at the age of 28, according to his obituary. The four children are seven, five and one year of age, as well as the youngest, who is three months old. He is described as a loving husband and father who worked hard to provide for his family.
