ESTEVAN - Members of the Estevan Police Service charged multiple people for impaired driving on Friday.

During the night shift, police arrested a 17-year-old Estevan female. She will face charges of impaired driving and operating a vehicle while over .08 as a result of breath samples. She was released to a sober person.

Police also stopped and arrested a 43-year-old Estevan man for impaired driving. The man had readings that were more than triple the legal limit. He was held in custody and released in the morning.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a three-day driver's licence suspension and a three-day vehicle seizure to a B.C. driver after an oral fluid test was positive for drugs. Blood samples were taken and will be sent to a lab for testing. The matter remains under investigation.

Members located and stopped a vehicle after a call about a possible impaired driver. The vehicle was located and the driver was found to be sober.

Police also attended to a residence on the south end of the city to a report of an unwanted guest. He left without incident and was taken to stay with a family member.

The EPS is investigating two separate reports of harassment on Saturday. Both investigations are in the early stages and involve harassing communications.

Police responded to a report of mischief to a vehicle in the parking lot of Affinity Place. The matter remains under investigation.

Officers also received complaints about parking around the Estevan Leisure Centre and Power Dodge Arena. Several vehicles were issued a notice of violation for parking in fire lanes and handicapped parking spots around the facility.  Police want to remind residents and visitors about the need to keep these areas open for emergency vehicles and the parking spots for visitors that have the proper placards.
