ESTEVAN - The City of Estevan will be continuing with its snow removal efforts during the weekend.
In a news release issued Friday afternoon, the city said that with a narrow window of time before warmer temperature impact access to snow dump sites, the roads and drainage crews continue with snow removal throughout the community.
Crews will be focused on residential areas and school zones on Saturday, and next week they will focus on maintaining clearance of catch basins and culverts.
"Please be aware that the warmer temperatures may cause issues in some alleyways. Keeping catch basins clean in these areas will be the focus, so we appreciate your patience as melting occurs."
Snow removal efforts have been ongoing in Estevan since a winter storm blasted the area on Sunday. Additional snow fell on Wednesday.
