ESTEVAN — Estevan Police Service members initiated a traffic stop on Sept. 4. As a result, a 53-year-old man had his driver's licence suspended for three days and his vehicle impounded for three days after providing a sample of his breath into an approved screening device (ASD) for alcohol.

Police also assisted the White Butte RCMP Detachment by executing an arrest warrant related to a traffic safety matter for a woman residing in Estevan. Following her arrest, she was released from custody with a new court date set to speak to the matter.

EPS received a report of a loud stereo playing outside in the Hillside area of the city. Members attended and advised the homeowner of the complaint and the limitations under the noise bylaw; however, the stereo had been turned down prior to their arrival.

Police responded to a report of an intoxicated woman in the city core. The woman was not immediately located. Members determined that she had received a ride home in a taxi shortly after the complaint was received.
