ESTEVAN - The Eagle Sky Estevan Bruins have announced that Drew Kocur will serve as the team's interim head coach and general manager for the rest of the 2024-25 SJHL season.
Kocur is in his second season with the club, having served as the assistant coach and assistant GM to Jason Tatarnic, who was let go by the club on Sunday.
"Drew’s vision for the team is extremely exciting, in particular his goals for player development and advancement," the Bruins' executive said in a news release.
Aren Miller will continue with his support in the assistant coach position.
"Having Aren’s experience is integral for the future success of the organization," the news release said.
The team will be announcing other additions to the coaching staff in the coming days. The executive thanks Kocur and Miller for leading the organization into this new chapter.
