听听 Sybil Margaret Frijouf was born July 25, 1936 in Arcola, Saskatchewan, a second daughter for Jack and Mildred Eaton and a little
sister for Shirley.听 Four more siblings would follow, Doreen, Evelyn, Beverly and Frank. 听

听听 They grew up on the family farm at Willmar.听 Sybil鈥檚 job on the farm was to help her mother with the cooking, canning and baking for
their large family and all the hired men.听 She was a member of the Browning 4H club and bought her first furniture with her 4H money.

听听 Sybil attended school at Inniskillen, then Willmar and then she boarded in Arcola to finish school.听 After high school, she went to
Saskatoon and became a certified nursing assistant.听 She started her nursing career in Lampman. 听

听听 Sybil married Robert (Bob) Frijouf on March 30, 1959. They honeymooned in Minot, and returned to live at the Frijouf family farm
south of Macoun.听 They lived in a skid shack for the first few years and started to build their new home in 1967. 听

听听 After they were married, she continued nursing first at the Midale and Estevan hospitals and then the Estevan Regional Nursing
Home. She helped Bob on the farm by running the combine and other machinery and being the 鈥済opher鈥 doing jobs like going to get
parts.听 She cut grass, raised chickens and sold the eggs and gardened.听 She cooked, baked, and did lots of canning from her garden.听 听

听听 Bob and Sybil were very involved in the Macoun community.听 They square danced, curled and socialized at the curling rink, and they
were active members of the United Church.听 Sybil often spoke of all the friends she had in Macoun.

听听 In Sybil鈥檚 spare time she liked to knit, sew, do puzzles, crossword puzzles and clean. She enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers
and spoons on their many, many trips.听 She enjoyed the countless family functions, get togethers and reunions with both the Eaton
and Frijouf families.听 Every niece and nephew had a special place in her heart and she loved visits and getting letters and pictures
from everyone.听 Her nephew Doug Frijouf always sent her a card on mother鈥檚 day for his special auntie.听 She was grandma to her
great-nieces Megan, Marci and Gracie LeBlanc and they particularly held a very special place in her heart.

听听 Bob and Sybil loved to travel. Highlighted trips were when they took a month and travelled to Hawaii, Fiji, Australia and New Zealand.听 They also went to England for
3 weeks.听 Other trips included Vegas, Disneyland and Knott鈥檚 Berry Farm, many camping trips, trips to BC, and Minot with their friends and family.听 Sybil really loved
her first camper and then their next 2 motorhomes over the years.

听听 In 1994 they decided to retire from farming and have an auction sale. They moved into their home on Brooks Road in Estevan.听 They quickly adapted to big city life
in Estevan. They became active members at St. Paul鈥檚 United Church and enjoyed coffeeing at Tim Horton鈥檚 with many friends.听 They continued to travel with their
motorhome and go on outings and trips and enjoyed their retirement. They still took many drives out to the country to look at crops...because it鈥檚 hard to take the farm
out of the farmer.听

听听 In 2003, they sold the house and downsized and moved to their new condo. It made Sybil鈥檚 day when family or friends stopped by for a visit.听 There was always cof-
fee and homemade goodies.听 Bob and Sybil continued to travel with friends and family as much as they could. 听

听听 In 2014, Bob and Sybil chose to move to Hillview Manor.听 Once she settled in, Sybil enjoyed it very much and often said she was so busy she didn鈥檛 know how she
would fit everything in each day.听 She would go get her hair and nails done, she exercised, attended the Bible studies and church services, went to all of the entertain-
ment and embraced everything Hillview had to offer.听

听听 Sybil had many health challenges over the years and despite these challenges, she never complained and always said, 鈥渟eems like there is always something, but
someone always has it worse than me鈥. Throughout it all she kept moving as best she could and contributed all she could to anyone who needed her, or needed help
with something.听 And of course she fussed over and looked after Bob. 听

听听 Sybil was a very kind, caring and compassionate person.听 The nurse in her never quit even though she retired from nursing in 1983.听 She was always worried about
everyone and wanted everyone to be ok.听 She will be fondly remembered and missed dearly by her true love, Bob and all her family and friends.

听听 Where there was Bob there was Sybil.

听听 Where there was Sybil there was Bob.

听听 They spent all of their time together and looked after each other right until the end of Sybil鈥檚 life.....when she went to heaven peacefully in Bob鈥檚 arms.

听听 Sybil passed away at Hillview Manor, Estevan, SK on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the age of 78 years.听 Sybil鈥檚 memory will be forever cherished by her husband Robert
Frijouf; sisters, Doreen (Ron) Humphries, Evelyn (Marcel) Boire and Beverly (Gary) Grimes; brother, Frank (Judy) Eaton; brother-in-law Ross (Mary) LeBlanc.听 She
was an auntie, great auntie and great-great auntie to many nieces and nephews. 听

听听 She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Mildred Eaton; sister Shirley LeBlanc; great niece Kelsey LeBlanc; parents-in-law, Frank and Julia Frijouf; sisters-in-
law, Mary Jane (Bill) Boulding, Anna Frijouf and Emma (Les) Wass; brothers-in-law, Frank (Ruth) Frijouf and Jim (Laura) Frijouf.

听听 Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at St. Paul鈥檚 United Church, Estevan with Rev. Brenna Nickel officiating.听 Interment followed at Souris Valley
Memorial Gardens.

听听 Those so wishing may make a donation to the St. Paul鈥檚 United Church Memorial Fund, 1418 - 3rd Street, Estevan, S4A 0S4 or a charity of choice in Sybil鈥檚 memo-
ry.

听听 Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
