听听 Susanne was born on her
grandparent鈥檚 farm by Alameda
on June 12, 1914, and passed
away at the Lampman Health
Centre, on April 15, 2015 under
the watchful & very caring eye
of the staff there.
听听 She was predeceased by
many family and dear friends,
including her parents, Alex and
Elizabeth McLagan; Husband,
Forrest; Only child, Alice;
Grandsons; Wayne and Robbie
Wilbraham; and Grandson-in-
law: Werner Dietze.
听听 Surviving her are: Son-in-law:
Thomas Wilbraham ; Grandchil-
dren: Virginia Dietze, Willie (Mi-
chelle) Wilbraham and听 Wade听
(Sherry) Wilbraham. Her Great-grandchildren: Mark (Misty) Diet-
ze, Amy (Matt) Cole, April and Dana Wilbraham and Wade Ha-
berstock. Her Great great grandchildren: Danika and Davis Diet-
ze, Aiden and Riley Cole. Her sister; Eva Farnden; as well as
many dear nephews, nieces and more friends.
听听 Being independent to the end, Susanne of course had pre-
planned her funeral arrangements. We鈥檇 like to share some of
the information she wrote, as it seems to sum her up.
听听 Her favorite things: family and grandchildren, music and more
music, hanging out clothes on a spring morning when the birds
are singing, good friends- and I鈥檝e had many, baking, (Including
her famous cinnamon buns), cooking, sewing and mending, go-
ing on drives, flowers, pussywillows and crocuses.
听听 Her favorite places: home with family, family gatherings, danc-
ing at Mayflower and Sandringham country dances.
听听 Unfinished Work: Lots - quilts to finish, etc.
听听 I want to be remembered for; Being honest, humble not 鈥渂rag-
gy鈥� or proud; trying to get along peaceably with everybody; and
trying to always return good for evil.
听听 鈥淚 have lived a long and good life so I hope you won鈥檛 grieve听
for me. It鈥檚 only natural I would go when the Good Lord calls. I
am ready.鈥�
听听 The Graveside service was held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at
the Alameda Cemetery with Sandy Dalziel officiating. A recep-
tion followed at the Alameda Legion Hall with so many of the
people who enriched her life and ours.
听听 Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the very caring staff
at Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
听Thank You
