ÌýÌý Minnie Holzer passed away at
Ft. Saskatchewan, Alberta on
October 10, 2014 at the age of
88 years. Ìý
ÌýÌý Minnie was born in Torquay,
SK.Ìý Ìý Minnie married Mike
Holzer on November 14, 1944.Ìý
Mike and Minnie lived on the
farm south of Torquay for 10
years and then moved to Tor-
quay when their children started
school.Ìý In 1986 Mike and Min-
nie moved from Torquay to
Estevan. Ìý
ÌýÌý Minnie made friends wherever
she went.Ìý Her welcoming smile and her laughter will be remem-
bered by all who knew her.Ìý She was an active member of her
church, legion and volunteered at St. Joseph’s hospital for many
years.Ìý In March 2011 Minnie moved to Ft. Saskatchewan, Al-
berta. Ìý
ÌýÌý Minnie is survived by her children, Donald (Wendy) Holzer of
Barrie, Ontario and their children Tamara Holzer and Sarah
Holzer and great grandchildren Skylar and Delilah of Barrie, On-
tario.Ìý Bob Holzer of Edmonton, Alberta.Ìý Cam (Laurie) Holzer of
Peachland, British Columbia and their children Michael (Jenna)
Holzer of Calgary, Alberta and Steven (Tasha) Holzer of Grande
Prairie, Alberta.Ìý Karen (Gary Pasay) Holzer of Ft. Saskatche-
wan, Alberta. Ìý
ÌýÌý Minnie is predeceased by her husband Mike and son Michael.Ìý
ÌýÌý Interment will be held at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens at a
later date.
