聽聽 Kathleen was born in Arcola
Union Hospital, the fourth child
of Caroline and William Tud-
hope.聽 Kathleen attended
school in Wordsworth and Car-
lyle and then Normal School in
Moose Jaw. 聽

聽聽 In 1952 Kay married Ralph
Story and they had two sons,
Robert and Clayton.聽 Ralph and
Kay farmed in the North Portal
district until Ralph passed away
in a farm accident in 1980.

聽聽 In 1982 Kathleen married
Henry (Bud) Wood and they
made their home in Estevan.

聽聽 Kay was predeceased by her parents William and Caroline
Tudhope and siblings Dorothy, Robert and Douglas, her first
husband Ralph Story and second husband Bud Wood.

聽聽 She is survived by her sons, Bob (Daryl) Story, their daughter
Robin Story and grandson TJ Klyne, Clayton (Lorna) Story, their
children Jared (Rosalie) Story and daughter Ava, Autumn (Ste-
ven) Dawson and sons Eli and Brooks, Kaitlin Story (Martin Cor-
coran) and daughter Jayda Velasquez, Lucas Story (Brooke Lin-
dell) and daughter Alyssandra. She is also survived by her
stepchildren Peter (Judy) Furhmann and son Jake, Ken (Lois)
Furhmann, their children Cody (Carolyn), Kristine, and Austin,
Bonnie Arndt and her children Jesse (Lisa), Brianne (James) Al-
len, Rayell Arndt and granddaughter Aubree. 聽

聽聽 Kay loved spending time with her family and received great
pleasure in visits from her children, grandchildren, great grand-
children and friends.聽 Kay enjoyed a good joke, coffee with
friends and was and excellent card player.聽 Kay lived her life to
the fullest, always giving good advice such as 鈥渄o what you
want, you will anyways!鈥澛 Kay was a teacher, a wife, a mother, a
grandmother, a friend; she loved people and people loved her.

聽聽 In the summer of 2013 Kay moved into Hill View Manor, where
she enjoyed the care and company of those around her. 聽

聽聽 Kay passed away peacefully at Hill View Manor with family by
her side.

聽聽 A funeral service was held on January 10, 2015 at St. Paul鈥檚
United Church, Estevan, with Rev. Brenna Nickel officiating.
Pallbearers were: Jared Story, Lucas Story, James Dunbar, Pat-
rick Pukas, Duane MacKenzie, Bill Mann.

聽聽 Those wishing to make donations in Kathleen鈥檚 memory may
do so directly to the Hillview Manor Activities Fund, 1401 - 1st
Street, Estevan, SK, S4A 2W7.

聽 聽 Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Servic-
es, Estevan.

they showed towards Kay. Hall Funeral Services for their guid-
ance and excellent service during this difficult time. Rev. Brenna
Nickel and Kaye Hemus for their dedication and prayer and all
the parishioners at St. Paul鈥檚 United church for their generosity
and help towards Kay. The United Church Ladies and Gentle-
men who prepared and served the wonderful lunch. To Emily
Gillies and the United Church Choir. Sandy Dalziel for her
friendship and kind words. To the many family and friends who
showed us kindness and compassion, the gifts of food, cards,
flowers, phone calls and visits.
