  John Michael Chess, late of
Estevan, Sask. passed away
at the Estevan Regional Nurs-
ing Home on Sunday, January
11, 2015 at the age of 93
years.
  John’s memory will be forev-
er cherished by his son David
(Yvonne) Chess of Estevan;
grandchildren, Nicole (Dave)
Lunn of Winnipeg, Man.,
Landon Chess of Regina,
Sask. and Clinton (Lexine)
Chess of Saskatoon, Sask.;
siblings, Joe (Heidi) Chess of
Rosetown, Sask., Grace Cook
of Swan River, Man., Joanne
Chess of Victoria, B.C. and
Amelia Egilson of Swan River,
as well as numerous nieces
and nephews.
  He was predeceased by his
wife Audrey Chess; parents,
Emry and Anna Chess; broth-
er Emery (Ethel) Chess and
brothers-in-law, Johnny Egil-
son and Ralph Cook.
  Interment took place on Sat-
urday, January 17, 2015 at
1:00 p.m. at Souris Valley Me-
morial Gardens, Estevan, fol-
lowed by a Celebration of
John’s life at 2:00 p.m. at Liv-
ing Hope Community Church,
Estevan, with Pastor Scott
Harrison officiating.
