Erma Gallipeau (nee Wasberg) May 16, 1938 - April 25, 2011 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Erma Gallipeau. Predeceased by her husband, Bill; a stillborn daughter, Michelle; father, Elmer Wasberg; mother, Imbi Jarvenpaa; nephew, Dennis Rea; great nephew, Stephen Rea. Left to celebrate Erma's life are her sons, Wayne (Holly), Darcy (Kathy), Tim (Marliss); daughter, Desiree (John); fifteen grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen, Vivian (Bev), Mavis (Merle) and Susan (Walter); a niece and nephews. Mom was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved gardening and having her morning coffee with the birds. Mom loved baking Christmas cake and tortiere and lefsa at Christmas. The coffee pot was always on for anyone who stopped by. The family wishes to thank the residents and staff of High Park Towers for their friendship and support. The Memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 1064 - 3rd Ave. NW, Moose Jaw on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Father Rick Krofchek was the celebrant. An Evening Prayer Service was held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. For those so wishing, memorial donations can be made to a Charity of one's choice. In living memory of Erma, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. Please sign the memorial register book at website: (Obituaries).
