Campbell Forrester passed away on January 18, 2017 in Estevan, SK. Campbell was born on February 13, 1919 on the farm west of Bromhead, SK.Â
Camby was predeceased by his wife Ruby on December 4, 2015. For 40 years they farmed near Torquay, SK where they raised their nine children. Camby was a councillor for Rural Municipality #6 for 32 consecutive years. He was also a Torquay Credit Union board member for 27 years.Â
Camby was predeceased by his daughter Sharon Hutt and grandsons, Kohl Pederson and Nicholas Forrester.Â
He is survived by children and grandchildren: Louise (Hartley) Halvorson and their family, Jeremy (Robyn), Danielle (Stephanie), Dustin (Alison) and Lakin (Chris) Cozman; Laurine Forrester; son-in-law Ken Hutt and his family, Wendy (Jim) Jaworski, Bobby (Jody), Amy Hutt (Kris Dutchak) and Dana (Krystal); Gerry (Joanne) Forrester and their family, Jared, Ashley Forrester and Derek (Karla); Duane Forrester and his son Jordan; Glen Forrester; Dale Forrester (Cheryl Oshaway) and his daughter Angelica (Kyle Strawford); Judy (Dayle) Pederson and their family, Dieta (Russell) Snider, Tyson (Ulyana), Alesha (Justin) Bloor, Shea (Kayla) and Rhett; Janice (Jody) Bashutsky and family Jessy (Kevin) Roszell, J.C. and Jake.Â
Camby is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brother-in-law Andre Bouthillette and many other relatives.
Camby was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Louise Forrester; brothers, Gordon (Edna), Lonny and Jim; sister Helen Bouthillette and two siblings in infancy.Â
The family would like to thank the staff at Hill View Manor, Estevan, for the care they have given to Camby since 2009.Â
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Trintiy Lutheran Church, Estevan, with Pastor Stewart Miller officiating. The lunch reception will be held immediately following the service in the church social hall and the interment will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Torquay.
