ASSINIBOIA - The Town of Assiniboia along with Gee Bee Construction Ltd. (the contractor) and Walker Projects Consulting Engineers (the engineer), will be replacing some of the water and sewer service connections and watermain valves on Centre Street.
The town anticipates two weeks minimum for construction and hope to minimize any inconvenience to our businesses along Centre Street and the adjacent Avenues. The following is a list of things that we anticipate during this time.
Portions of Centre Street, one block at a time, will be closed for safety. Traffic will be detoured in the most direct route around the closed portions and parking will be limited to the adjacent avenues.
Water service interruptions will need to occur during construction for your business. Interruptions will be kept at a minimum when possible and we will provide as much notice as possible before services are interrupted. Dates and times will be confirmed when available. Please note that after interruptions occur, possible Precautionary Drinking Water Advisories may be present.
All communication for closures and interruptions will be sent out via Voyent Alert.
