SASKATOON - Two Saskatoon males are facing charges following an assault that occurred in the 2000 block of 22nd Street West.
Police were called to the location at approximately 11:40 a.m., April 10. A witness reported seeing two males encounter the male victim while walking. It was reported that they began assaulting the victim and were armed with a firearm.
Officers located the two suspects nearby and brought them into custody. The weapon was found to be an airsoft gun.
The 28-year-old man and 16-year-old youth are facing charges including assault and assault with a weapon.
The 22-year-old victim suffered minor injuries.
