Police search for suspect in armed robbery at business

At 11 p.m., April 12, patrol officers were dispatched to a liquor store in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West for a report of a robbery.

SASKATOON - Police are investigating an armed robbery reported in the city.

At 11 p.m., April 12, patrol officers were dispatched to a liquor store in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West for a report of a robbery. Store employees reported to police that a lone, masked male entered the business wielding a gun and demanded the money from the till. He fled prior to police arrival.

The suspect is described as being a young male, approximately 5'9" tall. He was wearing a puffy, black winter jacket, a black baseball cap with a black face- covering. He wore grey sweatpants with white text on the top, left side, with black shoes and was carrying a black duffel bag. He may have fled in a green, two-door vehicle with a red, rear bumper.
