Police look for answers following series of stabbings

SASKATOON - Saskatoon police are investigating two stabbings that occurred on Saturday morning.

Shortly after 10 a.m., April 12, a 37-year-old man attended to hospital for treatment of a stab wound. Police learned the incident occurred earlier that morning, at approximately 9 a.m., near the weir at 33rd Street and Spadina Crescent East. The victim was also robbed of his cell phone by an unknown male.  

Then, at approximately 11 a.m., police responded to the 2300 block of 33rd Street West for a report of a stabbing. A 26-year-old man reported having been assaulted in an unknown back alley by three individuals.
