Sophie Drefko Ostafichuk Honig was born July 25th, 1924 at Lake Alma, Saskatchewan and her journey of life ended October 2, 2024 in Calgary, Alberta. Prayers for Sophie will be said on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Father Valentine Amobi presiding at both. Interment will follow at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Tribune, Saskatchewan. Honourary Pallbearers will be all of Sophie’s grandchildren.
