Irma Beatrice Mckinstry late of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, born March 25, 1920, passed away, January 22, 2024 at the age of 103 years.
Irma Mckinstry was a resident of Parkway lodge in Weyburn, where she has lived since August of 2019. Irma grew up in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, in a family of 10. She enjoyed curling, bowling, gardening, was active in the United Church and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She married Jack Mckinstry at age 19 and after the Second World War, they moved to Griffin and then to Weyburn. She was a mom and a housewife all her life. The couple raised one daughter, Lynda and her husband Jim, who live in B.C.
At the request of Irma and her family, Cremation will take place and a Private Family Interment will take place later in the summer of 2024.
