It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elsie Elizabeth Graff, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the age of 91 years on Friday, March 28th, 2025.

Elsie was born on November 25th, 1933, in Blue Wing, Manitoba. She married her husband Fred on October 3rd, 1953, and together they moved to Moose Jaw, SK to start their life journey. Elsie worked various jobs until her retirement. After retirement, her and Fred would load up their camper van and hit the road. Elsie was a long-time member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Elsie was a very proud wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She loved to keep busy with gardening, baking, making quilts for all her family members, and knitting her famous dish cloths, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. In the last 2 years, Elsie’s favourite hobbies were paint by number, diamond painting, and talking on the phone, although she did most of the talking. She was so proud of her artwork that she started her own little art gallery.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Hong Pham, and a special thank you to nurses, Lindsay and Lisa at the ICU for the excellent care Elsie received.
Elsie touched many lives and will be missed by all.
