WILKIE - He is Wilkie's claim to curling celebrity fame. Kevin Glessing was selected as one of the officials for the Canadian Olympic Curling Trials taking place at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Nov. 20-28.
Glessing has been officiating with Curl Sask. and Curling Canada for a number of years. He was part of a couple of curling events that took place earlier in 2021 in the Calgary Curling bubble, having to undertake strict pandemic protocols as part of his participation. Regardless of the guidelines he has had to follow when officiating, Glessing maintains he loves the job as it gives him the best seat in the house.
Glessing has told the Press-Herald/SASKTODAY.ca he will recount his Olympic Trials experience with us once he returns from the event.
