Unity RCMP Detachment investigating complaint of sexual assault

RCMP received a complaint of an individual breaking into sheds at the Wilkie Golf Course and the matter is still under investigation.

UNITY REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious individual at a business. The subject of the complaint was gone on arrival. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Unity. Reported for information purposes.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

RCMP received a report of assault. This matter is still under investigation.

Members attended the sudden death of a 78-year-old Unity male. The death was deemed not suspicious in nature.

There were also three traffic complaints and two false 911 calls.

WILKIE REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of theft from a motor vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a concerned citizen.

Police are investigating a complaint of a sexual assault.

MACKLIN REPORT

RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle north of Macklin. Members contacted the registered owner who agreed to move the vehicle.
