Unity RCMP Detachment investigating complaint of careless use of firearm

Members received a complaint of individual not complying with probation order condition and the matter is still being investigated.

Unity Report

RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle. Members contacted the registered owner. No further police action required.

Members are investigating a complaint of sexual assault.

Police received a complaint of fraud but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP received a complaint of careless use of a firearm. This matter is still under investigation.

A 26-year-old man from Saskatoon was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle during a traffic stop.

Police received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

RCMP attended a grass fire south of Unity. The fire was extinguished by Unity Fire Department and was not suspicious in nature.

Members received a request to assist Child and Family Services with a child welfare complaint.

Police acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults.

Members acted as mediators in a family dispute.

RCMP are investigating a complaint of an individual not complying with release order conditions.

Police received a complaint of a dog running loose in Scott. Members patrolled but could not locate the animal.  Members also spoke to the animal owner and issued a verbal warning.

Members received a complaint of an individual not complying with a court order but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP received a request from Community Corrections to conduct a curfew check on an individual in the area.

Police received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

Members received a complaint of an individual damaging property at a business. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a complaint of an individual throwing an object at a residence window. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.

Police received a complaint of three individuals knocking on a residence door and running away. Members patrolled but could not locate the subjects of complaint.

There was also one false 911 call.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a complaint of theft of fuel from a local gas station. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received a complaint of an individual not complying with a probation order condition. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of individuals selling items door to door. Members and the bylaw officer spoke to the subjects of complaint and informed them they needed to obtain a business licence to proceed.

An individual reported finding a bicycle. The complainant later contacted members to state they had located the owner.

RCMP received a complaint of assault. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and the complainant. 

Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a moose. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

RCMP received a complaint of a stolen vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of a suspicious individual loitering near a business in Wilkie. This matter is still under investigation.

Macklin Report

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment

A 70-year-old man was charged with three counts of careless storage of a firearm after members attended a residence in an unrelated occurrence.

Police received a report of an individual damaging a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

Members are investigating a complaint of assault with a weapon.
