An earlier story in the Unity-Wilkie Press Herald paper outlined the participation of three Unity youth golfers who are taking part in the Maple Leaf Junior Tour.
One of those golfers, Nash Sperle, recently was awarded the Booster Juice Bounce Back Award in the bantam boys division. Nash improved his round by 14 and was pretty excited about his two day score, which included a personal best on 18 holes, participating in the Sask tour event that took place at Moon Lake Golf and Country Club July 26-27. Nash says he has already adjusted his next goal.
The next event Nash will be part of is this weekend, Aug. 14-15, at the course in Elk Ridge. Denim O’Donnell and Hunter Sperle have had to back out as they are part of the U18 Cardinals baseball team that are hosting provincials this weekend.
