LUSELAND — With the office decorated as a giant gingerbread house, Christmas has come at Luseland Credit Union.
The business office has been turned into the Luseland Dough Factory complete with giant candies and suckers. To add to the interest, each staff member created a gingerbread house to be displayed in the Dough Factory.
The festive display includes a number of colourful gingerbread cottages which include decorated yards, a large house complete with working lights, a covered bridge with gingerbread men skating on the river and a treehouse with Santa perched on the roof.
Luseland's credit union team has often been lauded for their community engagement with displays in-house such as this most recent one. Their Remembrance Day tribute included a photo and bio of each Luseland resident that was perished in the world wars. They also take on seasonal activities which include decorating their location as well.
LCU members are invited to vote on the various creations in a number of different categories including Most Fun, Most Colourful and Most Original. The display certainly adds charm and interest to the Christmas season.
Residents comment on their appreciation of this business's enthusiasm with seasonal displays, with the recent Christmas display added into another one of their favourites.
