KERROBERT - A great crowd of 223 people attended the annual Kerrobert Wildlife Federation awards and dinner held Jan. 21.

Kerrobert Wildlife Federation recognized a few people lost in the past year including Brian Seffern, Glen Mock, Nancy Biffert (mother/grandmother of a couple members) and longtime volunteer Joe Dubielewicz. In a Facebook post, the KWF noted that Dubliewicz dedicated countless hours to the club and noted he was a communit- minded individual who was involved with many groups.
The KWF is looking at a dock upgrade at the Reservoir at some point in the summer of 2023 as well as stocking the trout pond. Other work will include tree planting at this location and continuance of the goose nesting program. KWF also sponsors a couple of kids to attend the Hannin Creek Conservation camp in the summer.
Kerrobert Recreation Director Bobbi Hebron, says, “The Kerrobert Wildlife Federation has an outstanding group of volunteers doing very specific work including community awareness, training our youth and operation of the popular Reservoir, to name a few. We appreciate their time and their dedication, and we trust that our community will continue to support them in the valuable work they do.”
