UNITY - Inspired by a class offered at Unity Composite High School, Chantal Wagner went on to the Western Broadcast Academy in Saskatoon to pursue an education and subsequent career in the media.
Wagner went on to work a number of different media locations both in radio and television. It was recently announced that she will be joining the Global Saskatoon team, serving as the weather anchor on the morning show from 6 to 9 a.m. While her first day is Aug. 9, she undergoes some training before appearing on air.
Wagner is the daughter of Max and Sharon Wagner of Unity. Her family and friends say they are glad to have her back in Saskatchewan and working closer to home.
Wagner herself said she is excited about this next step in her broadcasting career.
