The Wilkie Outlaws dominated the Sask. West Hockey League awards for the 2021-22 season.
Derek Keller was the big winner, picking up league MVP and top defenceman. Keller was also named to first all-star team. Brock Harrison was also a multiple award winner, awarded most gentlemanly player and top scorer as well as also being named to first all-star team with Keller. Rory Gregoire was also named to first-team all-star while Blake Young and Will Rathje were named to second team all-stars.
Macklin Mohawks were also award winners with Cody McKinnon being named best defensive forward, while goaltender Narthan Hargraves picked up top goaltender award and was amongthe first team all-star selections.
The Unity Miners and Kerrobert Tigers were shut out of 2022 SWHL awards, although the Miners had both a player and volunteer in nominations for top spots.
Playoff MVP will be announced once league playoffs, which have begun. are completed.
