SASKATOON - A male youth was arrested Tuesday afternoon after a machete was located during a weapons complaint.
On Nov. 12 at approximately 12:10 p.m. police were called to the 200 block of 1st Avenue Â鶹´«Ã½AV for a weapons complaint. Call information stated a male was inside a store with a firearm.
Arriving officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect for a weapons investigation. After searching him, police found the youth was in possession of a machete.
The 17-year-old youth is facing charges relating to carrying and concealing a weapon. He was also found to be breaching court-ordered conditions.
