Police seek public's help after shots fired at vehicle

Arriving officers quickly located the male complainant physically unharmed; however, multiple bullet holes were located on his vehicle.

PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating after a vehicle was shot at early Sunday morning.

On Jan. 26 at approximately 2:20 a.m., police were dispatched to the Prince Albert Police Service parking lot to speak with a male who advised he had been shot at.

Arriving officers quickly located the male complainant physically unharmed; however, multiple bullet holes were located on his vehicle.

After further investigation, officers learned the complainant was at a business in the 3500 block of 2nd Avenue West when a white SUV allegedly backed into the complainant’s vehicle before driving away.

The victim followed the vehicle to the area of 8th Avenue West and River Street West where a male walking from a residence allegedly pulled out a firearm and discharged it, hitting the complainant’s vehicle numerous times.

Through their investigation, officers were able to locate and seize multiple bullet casings in the area where the shooting occurred.

Police are continuing to investigate.
