PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service are investigating following a drive-by shooting Saturday evening.
On March 23 at approximately 6:20 p.m., officers were called to the area of 12th Avenue West and 16th Street West for a weapons complaint, where it was believed a firearm was discharged multiple times.
While responding, further updates came in stating a white truck believed to be involved drove westbound on 16th Street West, while a white sedan was reported to have been driving eastbound on 15th Street West.
Shortly after, officers located the white sedan in the 1200 block of 24th Street West where a male and female were both detained for a weapons investigation.
Officers observed the female to have injuries consistent with a gunshot wound and she was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Multiple bullet holes were observed on the white sedan and the vehicle along with multiple bullet casings that were seized. Upon further investigation, officers learned the white sedan left a business in the 2900 block of 2nd Avenue West and was followed by a white truck to the area of 12th Avenue West and 16th Street West when someone began to shoot at them.
After realizing the female victim was shot, they drove to the hospital.
The Prince Albert Police Service are seeking to locate the suspect vehicle described as a white Dodge Ram extended cab pickup truck with black tonneau cover and chrome accents along the bottom, as shown.
