PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating following an assault late Saturday night in Prince Albert.
On Dec. 14 at approximately 10:20 p.m. police were called to a hotel in the area of 13 Street East and 1 Avenue East for a report of an assault.
Arriving officers located a female suffering from injuries consistent with an assault; she was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Officers learned there had been a physical altercation believed to be interpersonal violence before the male suspect fled on foot.
Police are continuing to investigate.
