Update: Police make arrest in death of 35-year-old man

At around 12:30 a.m. on March 24, police responded to a report of an unwanted person in the 300 block of River Street West.

PRINCE ALBERT - One woman is facing numerous charges in relation to the death of a 35-year-old man, identified as 35-year-old Brett Charles.

On March 24, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Prince Albert police responded to a call for service in the 300 block of River Street West.

Upon arrival, officers located 35-year-old man deceased inside. At that time, three people were arrested from inside the residence.

Next of kin has been notified and the deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Brett Charles.

As a result, 33-year-old Alisha Ross has now been charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, and breaching court ordered conditions. She made her first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Tuesday.

The Major Crimes Unit along with the Forensic Identification Section has been investigating.
