PRINCE ALBERT – One man has been arrested after an armed robbery in Prince Albert. No one was hurt.
On March 29 at approximately 5:50 p.m., police responded to a business in the 400 block of 15th Street East for a report of an armed robbery.
Police say two unknown males entered the business and one of the males allegedly brandished a firearm and demanded money. The suspects then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
Just over an hour later while patrolling the area near the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Hill Mall, officers located a male matching the description of the suspect who brandished the firearm. The male was arrested without further incident and, upon a search of his person, a firearm was located and seized.
The area was checked for the second suspect, however officers were unable to locate anyone matching the description.
A 26-year-old man has now been charged with armed robbery and disguise with intent.
