When news first broke out about the dogs in Yorkton, who fed on their deceased owners after being locked in with the bodies over a three week period, the media couldn't stop talking about the poor dogs. A dog whisper was even consulted, to see if the dogs are fit for adoption.
The media described over and over what happened. What about the people? Didn't they have family? What did really happened to the poor people? Why did it take three weeks for someone to check on them?
We aren't very caring society. We could do better.
