On behalf of myself, my family and everyone who signed a petition to have improvements made at Borden Crescent Park, I would like to give the City of North Battleford a big "thanks" for the new swing set installed in the park.
It is greatly appreciated and will be put to great use by local families and travellers going through the city. We also hope anyone using the new equipment will treat it with respect now that we have it.
It seemed like a long time to get new playground equipment in our park, but in all fairness, we, as citizens, do not know everything that is involved in making something like this a reality. It is not a matter of asking and tomorrow it is done.
Now we have extra playground equipment we had asked for, in future we will hopefully see some more additions to the park, since there is certainly room.
Once again, a big thank from the children of Borden Crescent and the surrounding neighbourhood.
