If you have the opportunity to drive down 12th Avenue in North Battleford at night you will notice the magical feeling of the decorative light standards in their full radiance. This brings back memories of my child hood at Christmas time as I traversed the downtown streets in search of just the right gift for my mother. The ambiance displayed on 12th Avenue is a pleasant sight. In the quest to revive and improve the downtown area I wish to complement Tim LaFreniere and Keith Anderson and the City workers who took the initiative to begin that process.
