Dear Editor
Nov. 11, the Royal Canadian Legion, North Battleford branch held their usual parade from the Legion building to John Paul II Collegiate and back. It was extremely disappointing when during the parade, particularly on 100th Street, several cars sped by the parade with no apparent thought to injury they may cause, only to their own fictitious timetable.
In addition to this, cars passing a veterans' parade show an appalling lack of respect and consideration for the event and the participants. Surely, for the 10 to 15 minutes of their time, these drivers could display normal courtesy by allowing the parade its moments of remembrance for our veterans and what they fought for.
