I'm writing with regard to our REACT recycling program. A while back, I was told that we were going to start recycling plastics again as there is a Saskatchewan company that is manufacturing building products from recycled plastics.
I was wondering how REACT was doing with this and when we can start recycling our plastics. I know that the town of LaRonge, up north, has been recycling plastics for some time now.
I believe the purpose of the garbage tags is to encourage people to re-use and recycle. We should continue to charge for the garbage we throw out, but we also need to improve and expand our recycling and re-using.
