Dear Editor
As a citizen of Battleford, I find myself in quite the predicament. For the last two months, with complaint after complaint in hand and deaf ears turned away, I have continuously had issues with the person across the street blocking my garbage can from being picked up.
Now, after seeking out some sort of peaceful resolution, talking politely to the neighbour and speaking to the bylaw officer and town hall, I have been lied to, laughed at and told there was nothing they could do.
Last time I checked I pay my town bill every three months, just like everyone else, for water, sewage and waste removal. Now that being said, and after being told I have to remove the garbage myself because they won't pick it up, I ask you, how far does this have to go before something is done or looked after?
