The CFL's Grey Cup final is over and the champions for the second year in a row are again the Montreal Alouettes. Congratulations to them, their coaching staff and supporters.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders again finished second to Montreal. Should the Rider Nation feel disappointed? Yes, but not too much and not too long.
The Riders are a great team of individuals who are the pride of their fans who are, in my view, the greatest fans in professional sport. The Riders played a good game and came up just short of victory. Another great team who was just a tad better on this day defeated them.
I congratulate the Saskatchewan Roughriders, their coaching staff and, of course, all their great supporters from Saskatchewan and from across the entire nation.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are the pride of strong-willed Saskatchewan fans that are the heart of a great and wonderful province.
