The "Occupy Canada" movement that took place recently inspired me to write saying the NDP should once again occupy Saskatchewan before it is too late.
The present government has been stripping the crowns of their revenues, the rainy day fund, and are using revenue from non-renewable resources to balance its budget. By the way, there has not been a balanced budget in the province since this government was handed one by the NDP after the last election.
Health care is suffering, not only a lack of physicians, but also long waiting times for emergency services. This government has stripped the health care system of much needed chiropractic services. The NDP would restore and improve these services.
The NDP would restore clear legal protection for 3.5 million acres of wildlife habitat land. This government has had an extremely inadequate system of environmental protection.
Several pages could be filled, telling of the inadequacies of this government regarding the needs of all ordinary people in the province, but that would be too lengthy.
