Dear Editor
Thank you for the recent two part story, The city of North Battleford: its origins and early history by members of the Centennial 2013 Historical Committee.
The authors have helped me in my genealogy search because it verified that my mom's father, William Wiebe, who was one of the owners of the Union Supply Company, did indeed build "[in 1908] an elevator, flour mill and bakery" in North Battleford. I had read an article in the Rosthern Valley News from 1933 that said he had gone to North Battleford on business, but I had had no knowledge of when those businesses had been started.
