Murray Mandrych will never read this but, I see in his syndicated column of April 20 that he is on again about how farmers feared and hated the Canadian Wheat Board. Does Jerry Ritz slip him some cash under the table? If the majority of us feared and hated the Canadian Wheat Board why did we vote to keep it?
Are we supposed to applaud and adore the Conservation Wheat Board? Harper/Ritz "got rid of" the Canadian Wheat board, didn't they? But what is the thing that is still there?
Are we also to applaud the fact our dictator has "got rid of" many other things, whether the arts, environmental protection, food inspection and, one of the latest, the wonderful tree nursery at Indian Head?
Yes sir, you anti-Canadian Wheat Board people, any government strong enough to give you what you think you want is also strong enough to take away whatever they please.
