I feel compelled to comment on a recent article in the Humboldt Journal regarding former St. Mary's Villa enriched housing tenants. Saskatoon Health Region has been compared to a slum landlord, who gives a tenant one month warning before "eviction."
SHR has given the enriched housing tenants one year to find more suitable housing, if they are dissatisfied with their relocation. The SHR also provided a moving company, financial compensation for one year, and any other equipment required to make the move convenient and safe. This doesn't sound like "abuse", "bullying" or for that matter, "eviction."
