Because the Mennonite Community Closet is there, hundreds and hundreds of items are kept out of the city and rural landfill areas.
Because the Mennonite Community Closet is there, low and fixed income individuals and families can improve their standard of living.
Because the Mennonite Community Closet is there, donors are recycling as well as financially helping local charities.
Because the Mennonite Community Closet is there, several individuals are gainfully employed and their self-esteem is enhanced.
Because the Mennonite Community Closet is there, their volunteers use unsold and outdated clothing items to make beautiful, inexpensive quilts.
I believe the North Battleford mayor and councilors should grant the Mennonite Community Closet request.
