Regarding the City of North Battleford bylaw about school bus activated stop arm and flashing lights: it's a farce.
I just spent all afternoon in court lately to testify against a driver who failed to stop.
The bus driver isn't told in advance, but you'd better have witnesses lined up for court. If the court doesn't believe the bus driver without doubt the driver can get off scott free with the help of a lawyer.
I thought this bylaw was about safety for students. How naive of me.
