I want to send a very big bouquet to Battlefords MLA Herb Cox for taking the time to read the article about Flight Corporal Jason Reimer, who was on his way to the National Biathlon Competition in Halifax from March 3 to 10. Not only did he take the time to read the article he sent it to Premier Brad Wall, who sent Jason a handwritten note of congratulations and wishing him good luck (two bouquets to Brad Wall). I am not sure if either of them realize how proud this has made Jason, his parents, cadets and staff of Royal Canadian Air Cadets Squadron No. 43 and all the volunteers, but let me assure you it has.
It seems easy to forget politicians have a human side because they sometimes get bad press, but knowing both Herb Cox and Brad Wall found Jason's accomplishments noteworthy has been a great ego boost for all of Squadron No. 43. These are two men who are proud of our province and those who have had great accomplishments.
