Better respect needed

In the November 21 Humboldt Journal, Mr. Brad Trost (MP for Saskatoon-Humboldt) had an article that stated he was spammed by members of the NDP.
I think Mr. Trost is confused and needs to get his facts straight; there was no concerted effort from the NDP to spam Brad Trost's office. These were actually pro-choice citizens of every political persuasion emailing him that they wanted him to vote against Conservative MP Stephen Woodworth's private member motion to define the beginning of human life. Many citizens of this country saw this as an opening to begin the abortion issue again, an issue which has been settled by the Supreme Court many years ago.
Mr. Trost should also realize that he was not the only one this was happening to; NDP offices from B.C. to Quebec to Newfoundland were also getting the same amount of emails from the anti-choicers from all over the country and the U.S.A. I do not see or hear the whining and complaining; this is part of an MP's job, to hear from and listen to your constituents and the people of this country.
I also might add that articles you did on pensions and how well you are treating the Veterans of Canada was not quite accurate either. How can you say your Government is doing so well for pensioners when you are planning to raise Old Age Pension to 67 and many, many people who would like to retire and have been saving most of their lives are now having to work beyond age 65 to have any kind of retirement security. Veterans are in a constant battle and sometimes the courts to get from your government what is owed to them.
Seniors and veterans are the people who shaped our country and I believe they need to be treated with better respect than they are getting from you and your government.
