ZUBIAK: In Loving Memory of Shawn Allan Zubiak "Chopper" who was born August 30, 1974 at North Battleford, SK and passed away April 9, 2013 at Saskatoon, SK.Shawn is survived by his loving family: his wife Crystal and their children: Zachary & Cheyanne; his mother and step-father, Debbie & Leo Klassen; brothers: Darrin (Deanna) Zubiak, their children: Ryder & Natalie; Greg (Lindsay) Zubiak; step-sisters: Sherry (Shane) Locke, their children: Hunter, Wyatt & Tristan; Shelley Bloom, her children: Austin, Devrie & Eden; Sharleen (Jesse) Giggs; grandparents: Harry & Hilda Zubiak - Liz Keyko and Jenny Kuhmayer; mother-in-law, Beverley Cameron; father-in-law, John Kuymayer; brother-in-law, Anthony (Sandra) Kuhmayer, their children: Nathan & his daughter Brooklyn, Calvin and Mikaela; aunts, uncles and cousins. Shawn was predeceased by his dad, Dale Zubiak; grandfathers: Victor Keyko & Karl Kuhmayer. A Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Glaslyn Community Hall, Glaslyn, SK with Rev. Dan Gies Officiating. The Eulogy was given by Greg Zubiak and a Tribute - "A Mother's Love" - Debbie's thoughts given by Gail Kormish. Gifts of Music: Pianist - Judy Gies; Special Selection: Brenda & Ray Olde: "Amazing Grace" and Hymn Selections "Will Your Anchor Hold" & "Blessed Assurance". The Honourary Pallbearers were Ken Morrison, Paul Hamm, Roger McConnell, Bruce Mulroy, Cliff Currie, Toby Coleman, Gary Turner, Gary Tuffs, Tom Richardson, Wally Dmytryshyn, Warren Morozowski and Active Pallbearers were Trent Pylypow, Dave Willumeit, Logan Delorme, Shane Locke, Anthony Kuhmayer and Kim Tuffs. Memorials are requested to Crystal Zubiak, Greg Zubiak in Trust for Zachary and Cheyanne Zubiak, CIBC, Box 70 Turtleford, SK S0M 2Y0. Interment followed at Wolia Cemetery, Glaslyn, SK.
